With the view to enhancing the capacity of youth on democracy, human rights and peace, once a year, YAN organizes a five days residential “Youth Democracy Camp”, a training program, in Kathmandu valley. For the camp, a resource manual with contents and method to deliver participants will be prepared. According to resource manuals, 10 subject experts will be selected who will deliver knowledge, skills, ideas and perspectives based on the contents of manual, using various tools and techniques. In addition to it, for program, 40 young participants coming from various backgrounds including living with poverty, marginalized and vulnerable will be selected through open competition. At the end of the day, participants will develop the action plan based on their learning of five days to execute after the camp.
