In order to create an open platform and empower youth on various contemporary issues including youth policy, plan and programs, Youth Advocacy Nepal (YAN), since its establishment, has been fortnightly organizing a youth dialogue series. As of this date, YAN has already conducted more than fifty youth dialogues and more than 25 hundred young people have been benefitted.
In each dialogue program, subject expert will be invited to deliver his/ her knowledge, skills, ideas and perspectives based on dialogue title, using various means like power point presentation, group work, lectures, video documentary, working paper, role play etc among the participants. Following the delivering by subject expert, young participants will raise the questions; put their comments/ suggestions and ways forward. After completing all the youth dialogues, a publication entitled Youth Dialogue book (500 copies) will annually be published, compiling the presentations delivered by subject experts. In addition to it, a video documentary for each dialogue will be made and uploaded in YouTube, capturing the clips of dialogue.
