Continuation of the Plastic Man Campaign in Environmental protection

Janakpurdham – The Plastic Person campaign was conducted in Janakpurdham, the capital of Madhesh Province. On the last day of the year 2079, i.e. on Thursday, 30th Chaitra, the Plastic Person campaign was completed in the evening in Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city, Pethia Bazar. In the street demonstration organized by Kayapalat, the campaigners made a symbolic presentation to stop the destruction of the environment.
After the successful completion of the campaign in different places of Madhesh under the Plastic Person Campaign, a campaign was held in Janakpurdham on the last day of the year to clarify about climate change and the disasters caused by the climate crisis. Its gradual effects were presented.
In the same campaign, two plastic person carried plastic bottles and bags and presented a street demonstration as a symbol of plastic. In the presentation, Rishabh Kumar and Suman Sharma of Kayapalat became plastic men, while Himani Mishra and Shruti Tiwari became plastic person and provided information about plastic to street traders and common people along with campaigners of Kayapalat. Facilitating the program, the president of Kayapalat said that interference with the environment should be stopped.
He said, “Even if common people use less plastic, a clean and beautiful Janakpurdham can be made.” It has to start with oneself. He also requested citizens to stop using plastic bags and join hands in building a beautiful and green city.
More than 30 environmental campaigners, including plastic men, participated in the Plastic Person campaign at Pethia Bazaar, Namaskar Chowk in Janakpurdham.
